This one I really love... it's a picture by Dot, from "Strolling Through Georgia", a blog you can link to from "Everything in Particular" if you head that way, or simply by using a pogostick:
Our old barn, a huge (though pretty common for its time) big red one, was haunted by my great-great grandfather, I believe. I think he hung around because it was built after he died and he admired it as a sign of progress,
And when my Grandfather came to visit me in a dream, he pointed out one of the penciled calculations on one wall near the door... it was as if to say... this was my doing when I was young...
These are memories.. collected from near and far.. of things and places and people that I love. It is a very personal place for me to recall these things, but also a place I send people who want to know me a little better. This is because we are all constructed from what we know.. what welove.. and where we have been. That is who we are..
